Fortunately, I have found a wonderful source to supply beautifully handcrafted Indian jewelry from the Southwest, at prices most all of us can afford. For many years now we have purchased a large selection of Indian jewelry from the same Native American Indian artists and found their skills to be exceptional. These Indian artists including Taina T., Eunice B., Mae S., Jeanette S. and her sister Janice H. We purchase our jewelry from Northern Arizona and New Mexico and many pieces of our Indian jewelry will be shipped with a certificate of authenticity. Bearlanders Trading Co. Most merchandise will be shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity of the Artist who made that particular piece. In reference to all of our Opal Pieces, "Opal", the color of which is a milky, green, red and blue fire, is mined in Australia. Opal is considered a precious gem, which can be very expensive. Therefore, man has found a way to use the same components and create a "laboratory grown" exact Opal. It is difficult to find a difference between "laboratory grown" Opal and "natural Opal". And to keep our jewelry affordable, all of our pieces of Opal jewelry made with Opal are "laboratory grown". So ... "Save the Real Opal - Use Laboratory Grown!" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When storing your necklace, please place it in your hands, and turn the necklace into a "Figure 8". The necklace is made with what is called a "mini cable", and if not properly handled during storage, could possibly get a kink in it. Also, a good way to store this Sterling Silver, and liquid silver jewelry, when not being worn, is in an air tight container, such as a Ziploc Bag. We recommend cleaning our jewelry with a Polishing Cloth and for the Sterling Silver Chains, we recommend Connoisseurs Silver Jewelry Cleaner available at your local Walmart Store!
