This very large Kachina Doll has a silver Concho, and a double strand necklace and weighs almost two pounds! The 'Morning Singer' is a Kachina that represents early morning or dawn because he appears at dawn and announces news and sings songs to wake the village. This Kachina Doll was made in the USA by a Navajo named L. Vandever. This Doll was hand painted, assembled by hand with feathers and leather accessories.
